Life after stay at the shelter for women and children

After their stay at the Women's and Children's Shelter, women and families are to be discharged into an existentially secure living situation. They will have sufficient information and resources to be able to shape a new life in a confident and non-violent way.

Women and children will have worked out an emergency plan for the reoccurrence of a dangerous situation. This emergency plan will provide families with personalised contacts and strategies that will enable them to act.

Our move-out management services include the search for new housing for the women and their children. Within the Oldenburg region, follow-up support can be organised by the Outpatient Assistance for the Homeless or the Migration Counselling Service.

If other support or treatment is necessary, this is initiated during the stay at the Women's and Children's Shelter.
